ASTM Test Results
ASTM Testing was completed on Wilkeson Sandstone on May 4, 2001 by SGS U.S. Testing Company Inc. Please note that the entire color spectrum and range of Wilkeson Sandstone was NOT tested. Refer to the color variation document on the Product page at this time if you are not familiar with our color spectrum. These test results refer to pieces that were selected from the "silver grey" and "cinnamon swirl" color spectrum. ASTM testing has not been conducted on the "oatmeal" or "full color" variances at this time. If you desire test results on these types of stone we will be happy to provide you with contact information of testing facilities as well as sample stones.
These standards are meant to provide the customer with a ballpark physical characteristic of Wilkeson Sandstone. Our stone has relatively high quality physical characteristics when compared to other types of sandstones. This does not preclude the requirement for a strict set of quality control standards during the building phase. Cracks can exist that are not visible during the fabrication process and only show during installation. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
